Dr. Sarah Engbers, DVM

Veterinarian, Practice Owner

Dr. Sarah was born in Calgary and received both her Bachelors of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine  from the University of Calgary.  She has special interest in dentistry, surgery, and primary care.  Before opening River Path Veterinary Clinic, Dr. Sarah worked as an associate veterinarian in Cochrane and then as a staff veterinarian at the AARCS animal shelter. Dr. Sarah is excited to provide life-long veterinary care to the amazing dogs and cats of Cochrane.

Dr. Tara Landsbergen, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Tara is happy to be back in the area and joining RVPC to help the pets in and around Cochrane. She grew up in the Sundre area, riding and training show jumping horses, then obtained her Bachelor of Science in Animal Health at the UofA, and graduated Vet School at UCVM in 2018. Tara had been practicing in Fort McMurray before she decided to move to Cochrane in 2024.
Her special interests include surgery/dentistry, dermatology and ophthalmology. Outside of work, she stays busy hiking, travelling, skiing, and more along with her husband, young daughter and two high energy doggos!

Amber, RVT

Registered Veterinary Technologist

 Amber has a background in both small and large animal medicine. Originally from Saskatchewan, she spent 10 years in Ontario before the beauty of the mountains called her to Alberta. As a practicing RVT for 6 years Amber particularly loves radiography, lab work, and providing top-notch nursing care to ensure your pets get the best possible treatment. When she's not caring for your furry family members, Amber enjoys outdoor adventures with her husband and dog, as well as reading, painting, and traveling. 

Victoria

Technician Assistant

Victoria has a BSc in Animal Health from the University of Alberta. Her work history with animals is varied, having worked with many species including native and non-native wildlife, cats, dogs, and exotic pets. 
She is excited to be working near her home in Cochrane which she shares with her husband and their eight rescue pets. In her free time Victoria enjoys hiking in the mountains or working on projects at home.

Sharon, RVT

Registered Veterinary Technologist

Sharon is a graduate of Olds College as a Registered Veterinary Technologist.  She has spent her career working in small animal clinics in Calgary and Cochrane.
Sharon lives in Cochrane with her family and their spoiled fur babies.  She can often be found at her son's rock concerts, and loves to spend time with her family and friends. 

Jeanine, RVT

Registered Veterinary Technologist

Jeanine graduated from Olds College and has enjoyed using her education working with dogs and cats since then.  As a pet owner, she deeply values the bond between pets and their people and is excited to be working with the RPVC team to help keep your fur family healthy.  
In her free time, Jeanine enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and of course her fur babies.  

Rebecca

Reception and Office Manager

Rebecca is a long-time Cochranite, who has enjoyed careers in Education, Pharmacy and HR. Her varied work experiences have made her passionate about teams, patient care and administration. She is thrilled to use her skills to support the RPVC team in serving the clients and fur-patients of Cochrane and area.
She enjoys birding, hiking, soccer and spending time with her husband, daughters and family. They are surrounded by love in the form of a dog named Bob and 2 cats, Addie & Kenneth.
