
Dr. Sarah Engbers
Veterinarian, Practice Owner
Dr. Sarah received both her Bachelors of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Calgary. She has special interest in dentistry and surgery. Before opening River Path Veterinary Clinic, Dr. Sarah worked as a veterinarian in Cochrane and then as a staff veterinarian at the AARCS animal shelter. Dr. Sarah is excited to provide life-long veterinary care to the amazing dogs and cats of Cochrane.

Grizzly Engbers
Shift Supervisor
Grizzly was found by a passing motorist in Kananaskis country in 2017, injured beside the road and paralyzed. After a very long recovery and the support of a village, Grizzly is now a part of Dr. Sarah's family, and tells anybody who will listen. Grizzly helps supervise at the clinic sometimes, and loves to wrestle with her big brother Parker.

Dr. Stephanie Jaggard
Veterinarian
Dr. Stephanie is from Cochrane and has a special interest in dermatology. Stephanie will be working at River Path Veterinary Clinic one day per week.
Paula, RVT
Registered Veterinary Technologist

Born and raised in Drumheller, Paula obtained her Registered Veterinary Technician from Lakeland College in Vermillion. Her passion is nutrition and finding the perfect food for your pet. In short, she researches diets that balance you and your pet’s needs.
When not in-clinic, Paula enjoys spending time with her family and getting outside for hiking, biking, and skiing. She has rescue cat named Charlie and a family-shared border collie cross named Fynn!
Sharon, RVT
Registered Veterinary Technologist

Sharon is a graduate of Olds College as a Registered Veterinary Technologist. She has spent her career working in small animal clinics in Calgary and Cochrane.
Sharon lives in Cochrane with her family and their spoiled fur babies. She can often be found at Bow Valley Grizzly rugby games supporting the team and loves to spend time with her family and friends.
